Why I Built Just Add Water Studio
For almost a decade, I poured everything into my Montessori science business. Teaching educators. Creating curriculum.
Then burnout hit hard.
I needed something just for me. Something creative, no pressure.
I picked up watercolors - even though I'd been told I wasn't "good" at art. I can teach myself...YouTube has everything, right?
Wrong. I spent more time searching for tutorials than painting. I'd save dozens of videos, then forget why or where I saved them. Start one tutorial, get confused, jump to another.

Then it hit me. I wasn't looking for another teacher. I was drowning in teachers.

So I became that person. Not because I'm an expert painter, but because I know what it's like to be overwhelmed.
